Abstract
This course deals with brief studies of important art movements related to Basic Design that began in the early 20th Century, theories, and innovations within the field of Art Education. This is to promote broader understanding about the applications of Basic Design Ideas in Art Education. Inquiries into the cognitive and communicative aspects regarding the principles and elements of Basic Design and Design Paradigms are to be emphasized so as to enable students to relate its contents to teaching objectives. These are instrumental in affecting changes within the secondary and post-secondary schools.
