Abstract
Teachers are faced with many barriers during their first few years of teaching, and they desire guidance to help them through this challenging time. Unfortunately, many new teachers do not receive this guidance. Lack of support and unpreparedness can create barriers that grow into to overall job dissatisfaction and lead to the failure of teacher retention. Most teachers are less confident and led prepared to teach in schools these days. The purposes of this paper are to discuss the best practices in teaching Music Education in primary school and to explore novice teacher's preparation to teach music class at schools. Specifically, this research was conducted in order to provide guidance to new teachers and ensure that they are properly prepared throughout their first few years of teaching.
