Abstract
This study involved 61 respondents who are students of the Conservatory of Music, UITM Shah Alam. This study was conducted in a quantitative method using a survey form. The results of this study show that, students' perception of online music learning is that students are able to use various latest technologies in online learning. Next, the issue faced by students in online learning is that the learning environment is not motivating. Online learning is education that takes place over the Internet. It is often referred to as "e-learning," among other terms. However, online learning is just one type of "distance learning." Nowadays, the internet and technology play a useful role daily. The use of technology in the university classroom makes it easier for the lecturer and students because the data or content can be accessed anywhere by using mobile phones and computers. In doing so, classes can become interactive learning environments that individualize instruction to more fully meet every student's specific needs. This study looks at students' perceptions and issues surrounding "online music learning" at UiTM Shah Alam's Conservatory of Music. This study was conducted using Google Forms and distributed randomly to Conservatory of Music students using Whatsapp Apps.
