Chombee: high chair / Nur Asyifa Yuhezri

CHOMBEE is a children's highchair inspired by a honeycomb. it is designed for children aged 3 to 6 years. It has a lower backrest, lower armrest, and feet rest. this chair is used for dining table activities such as eating, playing, drawing, writing, and having a tuition session.it provides an opportunity for children to be comfortable and can fit in with an adult at the dining table. Chombee comes with a hexagonal and geometric design but still cares about safe use for children. The color is also inspired by the honeycomb. It is sunglow yellow that shows the brightness and the joy of childhood. Why honeycomb? Honeycomb is very related to the highchair. It is remaining how the beekeeping their babies in the high place but full of safety and comfort. That is the objective of the design, it is to be able the children join an adult place with a little bit of high, but they are still safe and comfortable for them. From this, the children and the adult can spend time comfortably together creating bonding between them. Chombee came with a secure surround the seat and hexagonal pattern to represent the inspiration of the honeycomb. Hopefully, this highchair is liked among the kids and helps them to have a comfortable seat while having an interaction with their, parents, siblings, and family at the dining table. May this help them to grow up in a comfortable environment and can achieve a developmental state of children at their age.
