Pandemic and its impact on their readiness for future career / Nabilah Mohd Nasir and Nor Anisah Maulana

The purpose of the study was to examine the students’ internship experience during pandemic and its impacts on their readiness for future career between the final year students in UiTM Seremban 3. Based on the study, the importance of internship is to gather real-life based experience of working culture in the office, how to handle and solve real-life problems and most importantly how to survive in the corporate life. Therefore, the researchers conduct the study by using convenience sampling method in collecting the online survey data. The result of the study revealed three main findings. First, majority of respondents are positively possessed with the students’ internship experience during pandemic. Second, all students are most likely to get prepared in determining their future career path. Lastly, the findings show that there are positive relationship between students’ internship experience during pandemic and its impacts on their readiness for future career. Thus, the finding of the study proves that internship program is considered as a steppingstone for students to determine their career path.
