Abstract
This study was an attempt to find out the relationship between job demand and job control related with employee’s perceived psychological health status among employees working in Transportation Unit, Development Division in Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). The main objective of this study was to investigate the extent to which job demand and job control by employees related with their perceived psychological health status. This study was based on a 108 UNIMAS’s staffs that selected from Transportation Unit, Development Division in UNIMAS. This study was used questionnaires in order to collect the primary data. Then, the data that collected from questionnaires is analyzed using SPSS version 22. In this study, the Pearson’s correlation was conducted to determine the degree of association between variables. The result supports that, there are negative
low correlation but significant between time pressure and employees perceived’s health status. For future research, the data collection need to include various type of employees.
