Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the risk management system operated by the organisation, the influence of Covid-19 pandemic towards organisation’s risk management system and the organisation’s risk management practices aligned with the post-pandemic Covid19 among the Malaysian public university and what benefits that can be realised through sustainable risk management. This research used the qualitative method and interview method to collect information and data from Malaysian public universities. This research indicates the understanding of the role of risk management in the Malaysian public universities, the influence of Covid-19 pandemic on the risk management in the Malaysian public universities and the preparation of the Malaysian public universities to move towards post-pandemic Covid-19. The results of this study shows that risk management has played a crucial role in monitoring, controlling the risk of Covid-19 pandemic as well as in preparation to move towards postpandemic Covid-19.
