Abstract
Child friendly space in shopping mall is now the current trend due to the fact that it brings convenience to customers. However, does this child friendly spaces are designed with the regulations outlined in order to provide a safe and suitable environment for children? This study revolves around what child friendly space is and its application in the case study selected, which are Setia City Mall and The School. Through observation and interviews, data is analysed to come out with a conclusion on the application of child friendly space in shopping malls selected and whether it should be imposed in every shopping malls.
