Maintenance and condition audit for government health clinic building in Klang district / Amirul Khairudin Mohamad Tarmizi

Government health clinic is developed by government to serve as health environment in the city and rural area. This is requires careful attention to maintenance works and integration of uses. Government health clinic most important thing should be considered by the people who in charge to maintain this building. This is because the people have needs for his self to get the treatment if they are getting sick. Healthy environment in health clinic can give human satisfaction, which they can have fresh air and comfortable during they are having their treatment. The aim of thesis is to study about the maintenance management of government building and achieve the objective of thesis. The objective of thesis are to know current maintenance practiced, to investigate the condition of building, to identify problems occurred at the building and to study the level of user satisfaction. To achieve the objective of dissertation, the methods used are interview, questionnaire and visual observation. After all the information obtained, its will be analyze to make the finding process (interview, questionnaire and visual observation). Interview method is carried out by interview the Director of Government Health Clinic Development in Health Ministry of Malaysia (KKM) to get some information about the health clinic in Klang district and the person incharge toward the clinic building. From this method also, the party involved in management of government health clinic building is Klang Health office (PKD). Klang Health office (PKD) will responsible and manage all the maintenance and development work towards the government health building in Klang, From the interview also, a lot of information can be analyze for instance type of building maintenance management and maintenance budget. Clinic medical assistant (M.A), is involved about the maintenance of government health clinic building. They are in charge to carry out the building inspection and make the defect report to the Klang Health Office. Despite, 240 sets of questionnaires has been distributed to clinic staff and visitor/patient by questionnaire method. This method carries out is to analyze the satisfaction level of building user. And then, the last step is to give specific recommendation and make the conclusion of the overall chapter. The third method to achieve this dissertation is run the condition survey. This method carried out is to inspect and evaluate the condition of Government Health clinic building in Klang district.
