Abstract
The study's goal was to investigate and compare the relationship of recycling policy effectiveness among residents in Shah Alam, Selangor between enforcement, knowledge, and awareness. The research was conducted from October 2021 to July of 2022. This study employed convenience sampling and questionnaires in collecting the data. Moreover, it will be done among Shah Alam residents in Selangor with 300 respondents to determine the level of recycling policy efficacy. The aim is to discover the aspects that influence the effectiveness of the recycling policy, as previously stated, Selangor is Malaysia's highest producer of solid waste. The result from this study is that the residents in Shah Alam, Selangor are aware of the recycling policy. There is a significant relationship recycling policy effectiveness between enforcement, knowledge, and awareness among residents of Shah Alam, Selangor. This study's findings could be utilized as a reference for improving current policy to assure its efficacy in the present and future.
