Abstract

The name of ‘Banana Balutte’ comes from the food itself which is sliced banana wrapped up with crispy popia skin. This dessert is so simple yet people keep on buying it out of addiction. The sweet and savory taste coming out from the first bite make our customer to repeat their orders. Some bought it out of curiosity but end up being addicted into it. Our main dessert comes with three kind of flavor which focuses more on Nutella based chocolate. The rich taste coming from the Nutella itself making it more powerful to be combined with hot sliced crispy banana. Nutella oreo, Nutella biscoff and Nutella cheese are the most top flavor in our menu.
We are confident to say that our ‘Banana Balutte’ approaches customer with an attractive and affordable price ranging from only RM 10 until RM 12 despite using one of the best and famous chocolate spread in Malaysia, Nutella. The idea started when we try to match banana with something new to develop a new kind of recipe. After agreeing to proceed with the name of ‘Banana Balutte’, we quickly start our online business on 11 April 2022 through social media platform which is Facebook to market our product. Since this dessert is sweet and savory, most of our Facebook page followers or customers are coming from middle and high school students, university students, and office workers. Almost all of them gave five-star rating as feedback.
We also serve free nasi lemak, iced tea, vanilla smoothie and banana smoothie for combo menu or during special events such as ‘Hari Raya’ sale, Year End promotion, New Year promotion, Chinese New Year and many more. Our targeted customers are mostly coming from Shah Alam and Klang since we provide delivery service with charge covering both of the areas. Customers also can opt to pick up their orders directly from oven.
With the great supports we received from the start until now, we are hoping to approach customers by adding more unique flavors in our menu and also expand our delivery service area to reach more demanded requests in the future.
