Abstract
This paper discusses the glass ceiling, a term referring to the barriers that seem to invisibly preclude women from advancing to the most senior level positions. The paper presents a number of reasons that women face impediments to career advancement. The paper concludes with a result that there is still invisible barrier that prevent women from advancing. The paper presents the study's findings from the employees of CIMB Bank general insights about the glass ceiling.
