Abstract
The purpose of the study are to examine the relationship between leadership behaviour and leadership style towards employee empowerment at one of the private organization in Kuala Lumpur. The conceptual :framework in this study are leadership behaviour and leadership style as the independent variables while employee empowerment as the dependent variables. For data collection, the instrument that have been used were questionnaire and its consist of 4 section, section A represent the leadership behaviour, section B, represent leadership style, section C represent the employee empowerment and last section represent the background information. A reliability test were conducted to see whether the instrument are reliable or not and the result shows it was reliable.The questionnaire were distribute to 70 supporting staff in one department at a Bank in Kuala Lumpur. All the data collected and entered into Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 18. The results show the significance and reliability of the data collected. There were strong, positive and significant correlation between the independent variables and dependent variable and the normality was normal based on range of normality by Pallant, 2011. From the results, some recommendation was given for the future research. The answer for research question also being answered in chapter 5.
