Abstract

Kuehenaq is a new partnership business that were started by Nur Masturina Hidayah bt Rozaiman and Eznur Hairi Bin Azizan. The business that we have establish is of the food and beverage industry in nature. Our business mainly focuses on delicous and crunchy Rose Cookies in various sizes of jars. Our business hiearchy are divided into two where Nur Masturina Hidayah is assigned the position Head of Administration while Eznur Hairi Bin Azizan is assgined as Head of Marketing. We started this business off in our base of operations which is at 40, Jalan Tajak Dua 19/4B Seksyen 19, Shah Alam, 40300, Selangor
After the covid-19 pandemic, we noticed a large surge of companies are now relying heavily on e-commerce. Since the COVID-19 epidemic, consumer behaviour has changed significantly in a number of ways. More people started working from home and stayed away from indoor settings like restaurants and retail centres. To supplement their income, people began operating internet businesses because the fear of losing their job because many employers started to lay off workers during the Covid-19 surge. We can also see that during the lockdown, many people were active on social media.After noticing this fact, we also wanted to get the piece of the pie. Therefore, we have chosen to use Facebook as a media platform to advertise our company, creating a Facebook page called "Kuehenaq”. We begin advertising on the facebook page through various means such as by posting pictures of our products, memes and trivias to attract customer’s attention. We setup a schedule on when to post our products especially during weekdays because that’s the time where large number of people will browse their social media during their free time. We used the soft sell and hard sell strategies for promotion and sales during our posting, and we were able to gain about 100 likes for our Facebook pages.
Kuehenaq offers the best and crunchy rose cookies one could ever experience on Malaysian soil. We are only selling one type of rose cookies first to get our customers to taste original recipe first. In addition to that, we wanted to be comfortable with selling products on e-commerce platforms as a first timer.
