Abstract

In the subject of Principles of Entrepreneurship (ENT530), we have learned on how to sell product by using an online platform on social media. The primary focus of this report is, each of students taking this subject has to find a product and utilize social platform on Facebook for online marketing campaign. It depends on the students to register as dropship or agent or create our own product to be sell online. Facebook is the largest social media site, with more than two billion people using it every month. Besides that, many generations use Facebook as their main, which we can classify Facebook as one of the best channels for online businesses.
For this task, we have chosen to sell and promote a chocolate product. The brand of this chocolate product is Chocodap’s. We chose this product because it is well-known and popular throughout Malaysia and tastes just as good as products sold abroad while being much more reasonably priced. Chocodap’s chocolate has various of chocolate groups which is a total of 5 different groups of chocolate products. These includes Chocodap’s Classic, Chocodap’s Truffle, Chocodap’s Yogurt, Chocodap’s Chocorus, and lastly Chocodap’s Chocobar. Under these groups, there are many other flavours, and different ingredients as well. One of them includes almond, hazelnut, raisin, flakes, beverage, etc.
Our business name is called as Zatisya Enterprise. This business is managed by Izzati and Aisyah. Since it is a partnership business, we combined our name together. The way we market our products is by using two types of copywriting techniques such as soft sell and hard sell, which is one of the ways for our business to get many engagements and interactions publicly especially towards our target market. We played with words in order to develop the customer’s sense of desire to buy products from our shop. These includes marketing products in calm and aggressive way.
In a nutshell, we have learned to work together as a team by selling products online and gain knowledge about the ways of promoting products towards the consumers. With the right skills, techniques and good services provided from us to guests, it will much likely increase our opportunities or chances to gain profit. No matter what, engaging with customers is important if you sell things online so that the customers know that you are willing to serve and complete their needs anytime.
