Abstract
In KOSMO (22 November 2010), Minister of Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Chor Chee Heung said the audit by means of a rating by the Local Authority showed 51.6 percent of public toilets could only reach the level of one or two stars, and only seven per cent or about 400 toilets that achieve five-star status, the most satisfactory hygiene. The aim of objective is to identify standard set by the government on maintenance audit on public toilet. The second objective is to study the common defect on public toilet in maintenance audit under MBSA management. The third objective is to identify the people perception on the facilities management of public toilet. Method used for the research are distribution 200 questionnaire and doing observation survey on the public toilet. The finding of the result shows that the performance of the public toilet at park area is not achieving the standard level of cleanliness and condition. Many defects occur that are not repair by the responsible party. Implication of the research, the public toilet is use for everyone in the country. The performance of the public toilet is one of the images of the country because foreigners also came to Malaysia and use the public toilet. If the public toilets have a lower level of the cleanliness and condition, it will give an effect many party like user, management, economic and country.
