Abstract
Malaysia is one of the nations that successfully implement the dual banking system as well as the dual insurance system. Whereby, there is the implementation of Islamic window principle as for bank and the adaptation of dual system in insurance. Whereas, the dual system is consist of Islamic insurance and conventional insurance. The consumers, or users, or community within any area in the nation is freely can choose on what kind of services they want to use for their insurance coverage. This study is aimed at investigating the factors influencing the Islamic insurance acceptance among consumer or people using the service of insurance and the domain factor from the existing factors, by using the Theory of Reason Action (TRA) factors. It focuses on the relationships among attitude, subjective norm, amount of information (AOI) and acceptance of Islamic insurance. The existing factors were derived from the previous research, whereby the researcher identified the factors using the existing theory that called as the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) and introduced by Fishbein and Ajzen (1975), which are of paramount importance to explain the Islamic insurance acceptance (Abdul Rahim &
