Abstract

This project research is about developing a web based system for certifying of ingredient that used in dairy product is halal and from undoubted resources. Therefore, the purpose of this project research is to assist customer especially Muslim in obtaining the correct information about the halalness of a product. The research and methodology in this project involved of four major components such as Planning, Analysis, Design, and Development. This methodology known as a Waterfall Model and usually many developers using a Waterfall Model because it is well understood and a popular model among all models. In results and findings, there are many halal logos from overseas that approved by JAKIM but all the bodies that produce these types of logo need to go through the procedure of Foreign Halal Certification when entering Malaysia's market.
