E-Reporting System for Non-Resident Students in UiTM Jasin / Nur Ashikin Azamuddin

E-Reporting System is a system created for non-resident students of UiTM Jasin and Jawatankuasa Perwakilan Non-Resident (JPNR) club. The system is proposed to JPNR club due to problems faced by the club. First problem, the club does not have a proper form or template to collect the information for the students. Secondly, the staff have some difficulties to analyse and find a specific report from previous cases. Thirdly, non-resident students have a difficulty to keep track on the current status of their report. Lastly, since the club store the report in a Microsoft word, there are some possibilities for data redundancy. Iterative model is the selected methodology that was applied in developing the system. The phases that are involved start from requirement and analysis. The deliverable of first phase are the diagrams such as use case diagram, domain class diagram and Software Requirements Specification (SRS). Then, design phase is a step where the database, user interface and detail class diagram is designed and also documentation for Software Design Document (SDD), before developing the system. The limitations of the project are the system was not being tested by the user and student will need to do a manual process to get a financial assistance after received report status. In a future, the recommendations for the project are conduct the testing to the user and implement the automatic feature to process the information for students that are get financial assistance form UiTM.
