Musical fire alarm in classroom / Zulhilmi Rahman Azizan, Hafizul Ahyad Harun and Muhammad Farhan Mat Ariffin

The purpose of this study and project is to develop a fire alarm warning system that can be used in a classroom to give a warning or signal that there is a fire occur in a classroom. Evaluation is based on the needs of the user, the cost of production and the types of output that can be used to warn a people in classroom that there is a fire in a classroom. It was found that basic features for a fire alarm warning such as speaker to give a signal or warning that there is a fire in a classroom. This method showed significant improvement in safety, reliability and user friendliness of the fire alarm warning compared to the other alternative methods. The findings suggest that the fire alarm warning system should be easy to maintain, easy to use and the most importantly can give a signal to the user or student that there is a fire in a classroom.
