Abstract
This objective of the study was to discover the relationship between motivational factors and job performance. The fundamental target of this study is to
identify the relationship between motivational factors such as flexible scheduling, physical working environment, and training and job performance. This study included 130 staff at Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia Negeri Sarawak (JIMS), Jalan Simpang Tiga, Kuchingas the sample size of this survey. The data collection method was a questionnaire survey that was distributed to all the 130 support staff at Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia Negeri Sarawak (JIMS), Jalan Simpang Tiga, Kuching. Reliability test for the instrument used was done using SPSS version 20. The outcomes demonstrate that every element of motivational factors such as flexible scheduling, physical working environment and training have positive, large significant correlation with job performance. It is recommended that future researchers should expand the number of respondents and conduct the future research in a private organization. For the organization which is Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia (JIMS), Jalan Simpang Tiga, Kuching, it is recommended that top or higher management rearrange their employees’ working environment that will be suitable for their business nature and conduct trainings that are related to their job areas such as administrative, enforcement and others.
