Abstract
The lack of study relating to a stock market development based on their economic growth is becoming a growing concern. The problem of not knowing the stock market development and the risk associated with the growth cannot be simply solved by just referring to the firm financial statement without better understanding on the relationship between the stock market development and economic growth of the SAARC region. This research is based on a balanced panel dataset of India, Bangladesh and Pakistan listed country in the World Development Indicators over the period 2000-2020. The regression result shows that the stock market development significantly impacts a economic growth.
