Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find more possible effects of economic forces towards the price of gold in Malaysia. The researcher used gold price as dependent variables and the economic forces which are price of crude oil, exchange rates, inflation rates, unemployment rate and gross domestic product as the independent variables. In order to investigate between gold price and five variables, this research paper used quarterly basis during the period from 2004 to 2018. The tools that have been used to analyse the data is by E-views software. The scope of study for this research is within Malaysia. Therefore, the tools to measure and analyse the data are Multiple Linear regression model. From the previous study, most of the variables above have a relationship with the gold price.
