Despite the economic and the environmental issues, travelling is still top of the choices for people to invest their money. There are few types of tourism that people recently enjoy including leisure tourism and visiting friends and relatives. Dark tourism is one of the new tourism attractions that draw tourist to travel. The trend of dark tourism becomes popular as people start to discover the importance of learning about the history of dark tourism sites. To learn about dark tourism, this article will briefly explained on types of darks tourism sites that could be the source of motivation for tourist to visit. Some examples of dark tourism sites will be provided to show the existence of dark tourism among tourists. However, there are also impacts on dark tourism itself. This article will highlight on the positive impact received by tourists.
