Abstract
Exhausted reveals constant observation to see and study expressions that capture the essence of human experience; things we all share in life. It is an observation on human body language, gesture, and movements from a variety of perspectives, perceptions, and emotions. It is to be share with the viewer to experience and understand body language that is only illustrated through quick line drawings on canvas. Drawings that use only pens and background colour smears that illustrate the causes of feelings of exhausted and tiredness are universal. Sketching lines is quick to capture expressions of gestures or movements on a canvas inspired by attitudes that express emotions that drive the flow of natural energy in a work.
Exhausted is an artist’s expression of his observations on the human gesture experiencing fatigue and lethargy while facing stresses in life. Sometimes we feel very tired about everything, tired of this life, tired of what we are going through. we feel overwhelmed by the high demand of life and fed-up with all the problems. It is unbearable. Tired. We are not strong; we pretend to be strong. We are sensitive and prone to crying due to this stress. The artwork act as a conduit, a transmitter of the restless and hopeless feeling to the viewer, the final receiver of the experience. This is how we can all share and feel connected. This is my way of finding what it means, this human experience.
