Reinstallation of water supply system (Service provider for low-rise building) / Alifah Abas

Name of this project is renovation work for Syarikat Air Johor (SAJ) meter. This project was located at Taman Air Biru Zone A, was handle by Mr. Mohd Norhafizi bin Musa. This project involves 5 unit flats. Each of the flats contain 32 lots of houses. The main contractor for this project is E man Utama sdn bhd. This project started on 15 January 2017 until 23 February 2017. This project involves changes in water distribution system and the location of the Syarikat Air Johor (SAJ) meter. It changed the distribution system from indirect system to direct system. This project used 5 manpower. This project used various of tools, such as axes for excavation, power drill, breaker machine, handsaw used to make a mould and other tools. It also used many types of material or component. For example, they used three types of Elbow connector, which is elbow connector size ¾”, 2”x3/4” and ¾”x ½”, 24 units of tee connector, 32 sets of meter union, 32 units of stop cock and other component that always used in plumbing. In this project there have 6 types of operations. First, underground poly pipe installation. Second, HDPE piping installation, where they install pipe size 63mm. Third, water meter stand, this process is about installing the stand meter for individual meter. Next, poly pipe installation for 1st floor and above. Next is water pressure test. This process is to know the pressure either enough for whole building or not. Lastly, backfilling and wall groove filling, where they build a wall to prevent a smashing to the stand meter. The common problem occurred in plumbing is low pressure of water. Usually, this problem occurred because of the pipe is clogged or there has a leaking. So as to prevent this problem, the pipe will be repair and remove the pipe clogged.
