Abstract
Housing is one of the essential components of living, protection, and a peaceful place where you can live. The property of housing should be seen as an objective and sequential method of constructing and supplying shelter for individuals. People's perspectives on type of housing property, including facilities, cleanliness, and activities. In addition, the housing issue is one of the major problems and has its effects on the residents with overhang housing that is unoccupied and no owner. The area of the housing area has a problem such as has an overhang housing in the residential areas that make the resident uncomfortable and causing unsafe areas to stay there. With 212 units of housing in that areas are not successful and some of units house become overhang housing. Hence, this study was conducted to improve the quality of life in Taman Saujana Permai, Taiping, Perak, by producing and implementing the best solutions to residents' needs which are lack of security and safety, the cleanliness factors and interfering with health issues. To achieve this end, a face-to-face interview was chosen to be used to collect primary data and observation will be conducted. Also, a site tour was used to carry out this study. The study relied on questionnaires and observation processes, with a sample of 30 respondents. Therefore, the necessary implementation should be taking action right now to prevent it from becoming worst and hard to be resolved.
