Abstract
This research concentrates on the effectiveness of using video as teaching aid in teaching English language in Malay primary schools. Here it tries to detept what are the problems that had trouble the teacher in using this teaching technique.
In this research, it is about 5 schools that are involved and the schools are Sekolah Kebangsaan Simpang Rawai, Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Payung, Sekolah Kebangsaan Pasir Tinggi, Sekolah Kebangsaan Tasek and Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Sawa. 5 teachers from each school to make this research successful.
Through the finding of the study, we can detect the problems that had made the teachers would not use the video as one of their way in approaching the English language to their pupils in the learning process. Here we will try to untangle the problems to make video useful to the teacher.
Video is one of the most powerful elements that could change the potential of the pupils in a short term. So the teacher must play the role to make sure the pupils could manage the English language in the most effective way so that the English language could help the pupils to face up to the new world.
