Abstract

As a composer, there are many things that should be considered while composing a piece for an instrument. Pieces that are still played over a long period of time will ensure the musical instruments more successfully continue their evolution. Performing a composition that are made specifically for that particular instrument will keeps the characteristics of the instruments alive and able to survive. This study will elaborate on how does the idiomatic motives for trombone in this sonata give the player the idea on how to solve their problems in terms of technical. From this research, the player can also get a lot of recommendations in order to achieve a better performance.
