Abstract

Public are becoming more aware towards safety aspects, due to the facts that accidents number are increasing rapidly. The problem, is that drivers do not understand that bad driving habits is dangerous and they also not aware of the risks of driving under such circumstances. The occurrence of accidents will affect the resources, manpower and other people's properties. Medical expenses have to be channelled to the people involved in accidents. Insurance companies have to bear the damages of vehicles and for the fatalities accidents. These major impact of accidents applied to all the parties involved. The company should emphasize providing high safety level due to the fact that most of the KN haulage activities depend on vehicle fleets. This study was carried out based on the importance of safety, aspects and in order to upgrade the container haulage fleets. The major factor that caused accidents has been highlighted and the improvements on current safety procedures should be done based on causal relationships.
