Awareness of contractors in CIDB Green Card Program / Mohammad Jusri Hashim

Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) is the government bodies which has responsibility to control and supervise activities related to construction industry in Malaysia. One of their duties is to ensure that safety and health aspect in construction sites is in good condition. In order to control safety and health aspect CIDB was introduce one program known as Green Card Program. In this Program all construction personnel should have a Green Card when they are in construction sites. Construction personnel who have followed this program will be exposing to the information with reference to hazardous risk in construction sites. The contractors as the employers for construction personnel in sites should be ensure their personnel's have a Green Card but some of them lack to participate in this program. Related to this dissertation, I would like to find out why the contractors mainly grade G1 is lack to participate in Green Card Program.
