The company was incorporated on the 22 November 1986, but remained dormant until it was taken over by the present shareholders in early 1988. Since early 1988, the company had accepted and completed jobs of various size. The company had actively involved itself in road, drainage works and earthworks. Most of the works done were under sub-contracts basis. Machinery was acquired and competent staffs were employed. All the jobs were successfully completed on time. To date, the company has successfully completed several jobs including slope protecti onworks, foundation, buildings, roadwork and bridges, irrigation canals, coastal & river bank protection and stabilization works and also underground excavation (tunneling works – Pergau dam). The company had also been recognized as Kontraktor Wibawa by the Implementation and Coordination Unit (ICU), Prime Minister‟s Department in March 1996. On 10 December, 1998 company‟s registration with Pusat Kontraktor (PKK) was upgraded to Class „A‟ (Bumiputra) and Grade G7 with CIDB. Today, Keltrade Sdn Bhd is a full fledged construction outfit involving itself in the field of Civil, Structural, Severage Treatment, Mechanical, Electrical Instrumentation and Telecommunication Works. With the experience of our qualified and dedicated staff, our own range of construction equipment and support from our Bankers and supplier, we are very confident that we will be able to undertake jobs of bigger size and deliver them to our clients/ employers within the desired time frame and specifications.
