Abstract
Jabatan Kerja Raya Pahang was established in 1926 where its first office was located in Kuala Lipis and the first Director of Pahang JKR was W.J. Smith. In the 1960s the Jabatan Kerja Raya Pahang office had moved from Kuala Lipis to Kuantan following the conversion of its first administrative and building center located at Jalan Masjid, Kuantan. In the 1970s, the Jabatan Kerja Raya Pahang Office moved to Wisma Negeri and in 1985 once again changed the KOMTUR to this day. Jabatan Kerja Raya Kuala Lipis is a department under the administration of the Pahang State Government responsible for projects for the State and Federal Government. It is a department that serves technical expertise to the State Government and other government agencies. The Public Works Department is responsible for realizing the government's aspiration to improve the quality of infrastructure and other public facilities and infrastructures such as roads, buildings and others. Beginning from its opening year, Jabatan Kerja Raya Pahang was administered by 26 Directors across the nation
