The effectiveness of teaching reading in English through song among the year 6 students in Sekolah Kebangsaan Kampung Gemuroh / Mat Fadhil Yusof

This research concentrates on the importance of song as teaching material in an English Language classroom, t tries to confirm that the used of song can enhance students interest in reading and in the meantime the ability of memorized the lyric can help student to remembered the word and also they can practice on their own.
Through this research we will see that the songs are the effective tool to be used in the lesson especially in teaching reading. In addition, using song in teaching can make students fluency in reading.
