Abstract
This research concentrates on the effectiveness of the NILAM Project in SK. Tok Dir. It tries to confirm that the activities in the NILAM Project can enhance the students’ interest towards reading.
Through this research we can see that the program is effective and has successfully motivate the students’ reading interest and building up a reading culture in the school.
Through some effort from teachers and students, it is not impossible to make reading as a habit in our Malaysian community
