Abstract

Stress among employee are the typical problem in the organization especially in the uniform body such as firefighter. Stress bring negative inpact to die organization in term of productivity, organization image, satisfaction on the job and others. This study were conducted in Firefighter and Rescue Station at Sungai Petani, Kedah. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factor that contributed to the employees’ stress in Firefighter and Rescue Station at Sungai Petani Questionnaire were distributed and the census sampling technique being used in this study as the total ninnber of employee in this station is only 65. The trend od employees’ stress in Firefighter and Rescue Station at Sungai Petani were analyzed by the research objectives, finding that tested on four factors which are working condition, workload, pay scale and technology advancement.
