All students of diploma in engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA have to undergo the industrial training session for 8 weeks as part of the requirement to
graduate as an engineering student. The objectives of industrial training are to improve students’ soft skills, to improve communication and management skills between
people, to apply theories learnt during lecture class in the work environment and to strengthen students’ confidence level.

During the 8 weeks of industrial training, students will be monitored by two types of supervisors which are faculty supervisor who is nominated between the lecturers in the faculty and industrial supervisor the person who is in-charge of the industrial training students. The industrial training started on 8'* July 2018 and ended on 2" September 2018.

I have experienced my industrial training at a consultancy company named Ranhill Water Services Sdn. Bhd. in Larkin Johor Bahru, Johor. The company has been incorporated in 2005. This company have been specializing in the provision of operational, management, construction and consultancy.

My faculty supervisor is Miss Azyan Zafirah Binti Mohd Zahid while my industrial supervisor is and Puan Nor Suhada Hasan which is also the Head of technical support of this company.
