Abstract
The study attempts to analyze and reach deeper beyond the topic of motif and licks in traditional jazz music area. By analyzing Olivier Franc's live performance of Summertime at Jazz in Marciac 2009, One can then see the visualization on the topic of motif and licks. Example of motif(ves) and licks found in the analyzation will used, in the process of answering the research questions of this study.
