Abstract

The study attempts to investigate more on form genre and function of the film score in The Oasis. This study documents the composition techniques and the harmonic structure for the future generation. By documenting and analyzing can help to contribute in this historical archival research. This study will look at the analysis of the study, the purpose of the study, characteristics and the impact of the study to the readers. The objective for this research is to analyze the film score of the scene The Oasis in terms of form, genre and function of the film score and to identify the effect and future impact of this music towards compositional technique. To do so, qualitative research that include analyzing has been done. The data collected and analyzed were from primary data (reading and transcribing), and secondary data (coding and themes).
