A study on sport facilities in IPTA (UiTM, UM and UPM) / Noor Hidayah Ab. Malek

Sport facilities are among the valuable assets besides building. An effective and systematic of maintenance management towards the sport facilities is not only can maintain its quality and gives a satisfaction to the users, it also can increase the investment value of that facilities. Maintenance management is an activity of managing or maintains certain item or asset to an acceptable condition and safe to the users. Maintenance and sport facilities are really related to each other because without maintenance, the condition of the sport facilities cannot be maintain like its origin condition and also cannot gives attraction or even comfort to the users. However, there is still lack of awareness of the maintenance management towards the sport facilities. The maintenance management towards the sport facilities in IPTA is always being said that not being well maintained compared to the sport facilities in IPTS which is said having a systematic and efficient of maintenance management. So, in order to prove which one has the better one, this dissertation report is produced to give an exposure and a real view of the maintenance management system towards the sport facilities provided in the IPTA.
