Abstract

As requirement by subject Industrial Training Report (BM222), this research has completed this research on “The acceptance of gold dinar as a medium of exchange in Kota Bharu”. In this research three independent variables that influence the acceptance of gold dinar as a medium of exchange in Kota Bharu has been identified which are gold prevent exchange rate risk; gold dinar may increase trade; payment by gold dinar is accepted. This study was taken 150 of respondents in Kota Bharu but only 100 of respondents are valid. Objectives of the study are to determine whether the acceptance of gold dinar as a medium of exchange in Kota Bharu can be influence by gold prevent exchange rate risk, gold dinar may increase trade and payment by gold dinar accepted and the correlation of the acceptance of gold dinar as a medium of exchange in Kota Bharu and its independent variables (gold prevent exchange rate risk, gold dinar may increase trade and payment by gold dinar is accepted). Primary data and data analysis as example frequency distribution analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis and one way ANOVA was used in research methodology. This research also gives recommendation in order to make improvement in future. Finding on this research, we will know the most important
factor that lead to the acceptance of gold dinar as a medium of exchange and also can know relationship between gold prevent exchange rate risk, gold dinar may
increase trade and payment by gold dinar is accepted towards the acceptance of gold dinar as a medium of exchange. Therefore, the researcher found that gold prevent exchange rate risk is the most important factor that influence the acceptance of gold dinar as a medium of exchange and have positive relationship to the acceptance of gold dinar as a medium of exchange
