Abstract
Photography images is a form of education to understanding of the message and serves as an effective medium of communication. Education is an important asset which could improve the quality of life and ensure that people will have a better life. Education of Orang Asli students especially, is still in low level. Most of Orang Asli are literate, including adult because of they are not interested in education. The objective of this are to examine the current practice of teaching and learning by using visual images among the Orang Asli Che Wong (OACW) primary school students and then, to analysis the impact of visual images in the learning process among the OACW primary school students. The approach began with observation and interview using unstructured observation and semi structured interview. From this, the data was analysed based in thematic data. This study concludes, OACW primary students are very interested with colour images instead of black and white images, language is one of communication barrier during teaching and learning session and visual images can help the OACW primary students to become more creative and innovative. The result of the study also suggested that a special textbook, exercise material, examination paper or test using colour and clear images should be provide to Orang Asli. It is hope that the study can contribute to the improvement of education level OACW to be better.
