Blueprint : DuSe LADDER / Amirah Hazwani Roslin

It is proven that one of the common existing problems for the ladder users is the non-existent of space to put their tools and equipment before climbing up or down from the ladder. It may sound trivial however actually a pretty serious issue because it may cause a threatening situation or death. People tend to carry along the equipment while climbing the ladder that may lead to fall accidents due to the imbalance and unsteady ladder. Hence, a new idea of improvisation to the existing ladder, the DuSe Ladder is proposing to overcome this problem – an additional feature of a platform for placing things. Additionally, the innovation idea is supposed to enhance the safeness and practicality of the existing ladder in the market. In other words, the DuSe Ladder offers more safety, more functional and more affordable price to the consumers. The targeted customer for the DuSe Ladder is among the household occupants and also those who own small businesses or buildings. There is such innovation on the existing market but only for professional purposes and unsuitable for those who used ladder infrequently like household owners. Thus, the new product can be marketed due to the existence of a large target customers and high interest shown by them regarding the DuSe Ladder. Besides, the product design and proper materials selection are present in this study
