The academic performance among the quantity surveyor students

In Malaysia, academic performance is one of the crucial elements for everybody as people will looking forward to their academic performance first before precede to others element in that particular person. Academic performance can be influenced by the attitude of the student itself. Attitude is someone behavior in adapting in their surrounding and how they cooperate with their study. Thus, the aim of this research is to improve the academic performance among the Quantity Surveyor students. While, the objectives of this research were to identify the variable factor that contributes towards students' attitude, to analyze the effect of students' attitude towards their academic performance and to recommend the best attitudes that can be followed by others students to improve academic performance. The data were collect by using questionnaire survey that being distributed among the Semester 6 Quantity Surveyor students in simple random sampling. Then the data that obtained from the distribution being analyze by using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). The findings of this study, showed that majority of the students managed their time by completing their works within the deadlines. The students also showed that they paid an attention during the class when the lecturer is teaching in front and they did actively participated in Q&A session or quiz in the class.
