AC Chopper using Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) technique: article.
pp. 1-9.
Abstract
This paper is concerned on development of AC Chopper using Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulation (SPWM) switching technique. The IGBTs are used as switching devices. The Power System Block set with Matlab/Simulink environment is used to study the behavior of the purpose converter. The switching frequency of the converter is being varied and being fed to the R load circuit. The modulation index also is being varied to study the output voltage of the converter. Selected simulation and experiment results are presented.
