Abstract

This research evaluates how surface texturing influences silicon solar cell electrical properties using computer simulation software to find the optimal pyramid angle for maximum efficiency. By analyzing various angles from zero to eighty degrees on a silicon substrate, the study determines that an angle of fifty three degrees provides the best balance between light absorption and electrical performance. This optimal design achieves a final efficiency of twenty four point four nine percent with a significant enhancement in short circuit current and open circuit voltage, demonstrating that properly angled pyramid textures boost current generation while managing surface recombination effects.
