Kompleks Pendidikan Islam Bangi

The report describes my experience in industrial training as a human resource student in Kompleks Pendidikan Islam Bangi, a company that handles Yayasan Bangi Bandar Ilmu, a non-profit organization with its special activities in charitable, religious, and community-based activities. A primary school is also under the watch of the organization, a dynamic environment is formed, which combines the educational activity with administrative and human resources activities. This internship was aimed at enhancing my knowledge on HR practices as well as closing the gap between theory and the practice. The internship allowed me to work in the areas that are vital to human resources which were dealing with employee data, offering assistance in the recruitment process, internal documentation, and performing simple payroll related duties including staff wages, EPF and SOCSO. I was also involved in core systems with which the organization ASIS, EBOSS were created by AWFATECH and SQL Financial Accounting. These systems played a key role in HR activities and I was not only doing human resources related duties but also basic finance, administration and media task which provided me with a diverse range of experience in multiple areas of operation. The internship has helped me to develop communication skills, better knowledge in the human resources processes, and ability to adjust to a professional working environment. I had practical knowledge of human resources digital systems, critical thinking in dealing with real-life situations at the workplace, and how human resources practices enhance the organizational objectives, particularly in a non-profit and learning organization. Furthermore, the experience has boosted my confidence and equipped me to join the workforce with more knowledge and practical skills and with a better perception of the human resources work.
