Abstract

This research is about challenges faced among rural contractor in Perak. Although construction industry is one of the largest national economy sector in Malaysia , contractor in rural area have challenges in order to survive in the construction industry due to many problem faced among rural contractor, and one of the main problem, is challenges in order to get project from client due to high competition between rural and urban contractors. Therefore, the objective of this research is to identify what is the problem face by contractor G1 in Perak Tengah thus to analyze what is the most critical challenges face among contractor G1 in Perak Tengah and lastly to determine the suitable problem solve of the challenges. This research will focus on Contractors G1 in Perak Tengah. Data will be collected using questionnaire .In addition, for secondary data is gathering from articles, journals, newspaper and relevant websites. This aim of this research is to help contractor in rural area survive in construction industry.
