Bulan: coffee table

BULAN is a modular coffee table inspired by natural textures and traditional craftsmanship. The design integrates sustainable materials such as woven nipa palm midrib sticks and shredded lidi nipah, which is processed into an MDF-like material. These elements are combined with laser-cut plywood and a steel frame, forming a structure that is both durable and aesthetically refined. The weaving panel is placed at the center of the table, showcasing traditional techniques while providing a strong visual identity. The shredded lidi nipah is dyed, molded, and used to form textured surfaces, adding depth and material richness to the overall design.
