Abstract

Despite women achieving only 60% of their global empowerment potential, Malaysia is actively integrating gender equality into national development frameworks to bolster key economic sectors like tourism. This study examines the impact of women's empowerment on tourism development by focusing on female employees at Legoland Malaysia, where the industry's reliance on service quality offers significant opportunities for social and economic advancement. By analyzing this relationship, the research highlights how empowering women can drive growth and sustainability within the Malaysian leisure and tourism landscape.
